Ashia Erskine

I am a recent graduate of the BA (Hons) Costume Design and Construction course at Nottingham Trent University. My work focuses on creating highly detailed costumes for film and television.

Exploring the connection between historical and fantasy costuming, blending historical construction with expressive textiles. My work often features hidden details and motifs which add to my characters story.

I love costume for its ability to convey hidden meanings to an audience, adding to the immersive storytelling of film and television.

As well as designing and making costumes throughout my time at university I have also worked on professional film sets as a standby and maker.
