The menu is a thriller detailing the events of a lavish dinner event which takes place on a remote island.
I love the shock twists used in this film. The film manages to lull you into a complete sense of false security and the first shock act took me completely by surprise. I love the use of sound in this film to build suspense. Particularly after Margot is given the opportunity to work for Chef, the soundtrack used as she tries to make her decision makes the audience question everything.
Ralph Fiennes performance as Chef Slow is chilling and haunting, his lack of response or care over the gruesome events that he has planned occurring in front of him paint a horrifying picture. Overall this film was very satisfying to watch with its many twists and shocks and come to a very satisfactory end.
